Ambient Cafe' Series is a series of Smooth Lounge Jazz music albums.
They feature Electric Jazz Guitar and Bass, Vibraphone, Jazz Organ, Electric Piano, Rhodes Electric Piano, seductive Alto Sax, and smooth beats. A subtle blend of relaxed beats, smooth guitar, vibes and piano ~ the shimmer of laid-back West Coast ‘surf rock’, the pulsing rhythm of Latin, with the improvisational freedom of jazz.
Very mellow, laid-back and calming... like a late night in a Jazz cafe'.
Ambient Smooth Jazz. My aim is always to create relaxing soundscapes that are a blend of relaxed, laid-back funk-style rhythm with a splash of melody, harmony, or a little kick, and to immerse deeper into moodier, jazz-inspired excursions.

Song I6 : 'Something She Said' by Billy Neal' Notes: 'Composed by Neal/ Wilkinson ' More than any other Neal/Wilkinson composition this was born from a jam session in the studio on hammond and sax by just Peter and I doodling , I was thinking of a partner and a relationship story when it came to the sax melody, The drummer and bass player brought a lot of life to the song and individuality of the sound once we brought the band in together in the studio and its very much a live take of everyone together playing , no drop ins and overdubs just a single raw take and raw feel which I feel captures everyone's mood on the day as a one off.'
