The rules:

Songs entered in previous years are not allowed

Artists can enter 6 songs in total, max 3 in any one category, Best Back Catalogue, Song of the Year, Best Instrumental, or Most Creative Cover Version.

All songs with a decent video, hand-made without AI, automatically go into Best Music Video and don't count as a separate entry

All songs automatically go into Best Lyrics

Each song can, if you wish, be entered in TWO categories (but counts as just one entry).
Some examples:

• Song of the Year and Best Acoustic Song

• Best Back Catalogue and Best Dance Song

• Best Alt/Punk/Experimental and Song of The Year

• Song of the Year and Best Jazz Song

• Most Creative Cover Version and Best Dance Song

• Best Dance Song and Song of the Year

• Song of the Year and Best Country Song

• SONG OF THE YEAR: Best Original Song

  For songs released 2024 onwards.

• Best Back Catalogue Original Song

  This is for songs released 2023 or before.

• Most Creative Cover Version

  This is where you make a significant change, either by changing the lyrics or changing the tempo (faster or slower) or making vastly different changes to the original song.
  Famous examples are Joe Cocker, who dramatically altered the Beatles song, 'With a Little Help from My Friends' and The Angels, who changed the tempo of the Animals hit, 'We gotta get out of this place'. And nearer to home, Rewind2Play came very close last year with a change of lyrics to 'Six Days om the Road' to their '6 Days in Ibiza'

• Best Jazz Song or Instrumental

• Best Music Video

  Can also be an entry for this category for a straight cover version with a great video

• Best Alt/Punk/Experimental

• Best Country Song

• Best Dance Song

• Best Pop Song

• Best Acoustic Song

• Best Lyrics

Each category needs 5 songs from at least 2 different artists to proceed
