The aim is to unleash your creativity and to include an original song or three in your play lists. How cool to win Rockingham's Song of The Year!

It would be fabulous if a song entered here becomes a world-wide Number 1 smash hit, but if it helps up and coming musicians get some gigs, well that's great too!

It is also about trying to get artists songs some airplay on the radio! It may take time, but this year we have had an article in the Sound Telegraph, which was also published online at Perth Now.

Jason Carroll of DRN1 streaming radio has interviewed some artists as a result of seeing the article on Perth Now, so it looks as though we are getting somewhere!
